IF YOU ARE MAKING JEWELRY WITH POLYMER-BASED CLAY: Our pieces are able to withstand some heat. Bake at 250-275 degrees for 30 minutes. Do not exceed 275 degrees.
If you are making your jewelry with polymer-based clay or canes, please also be aware that clay will fall out of the jewelry settings after baking, this is true with any metal jewelry and polymer-based clays. You will need to pop the cured clay out of the setting and re-set it with your favorite type of glue. This is a good option if you want to sand your pieces.
We offer our Acti-bond one-step bonding agent in our shop under supplies if you wish to pre-treat your pieces. This is particularly helpful with small inlay design styles
